UVSM Eye Hospital had a very humble beginning in the year 1985 as a 3 room clinic which over the last 3 decades has not only evolved into a sophisticated specialty eye care provider in coastal Andhra pradesh, but also as a Trust that runs a free school for the visually challenged.

The Hospital is recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and extends reimbursement facility for services availed by all it’s employees and pensioners.

Our Founder Dr.U.V.Ramana Raju is a meticulous and passionate surgeon with over 3 decades of experience of performing over 50,000 surgeries till date. He has always upgraded his skills and hospital facilities along with the ever changing trends and techniques in ophthalmic sciences .He also had the rare opportunity of receiving the Certificate of Appreciation from the state government of Andhra Pradesh twice for his services to the visually challenged.
