UVSM Trust was established in 2005 and is actively involved in the following areas of service

• Free school and intermediate college for visually challenged children
• Free medical and surgical camps in rural areas
• Eye donation awareness programs
• Dr.A.V. Raju memorial Netradaan eye donation center 
• Glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy awareness programs
• Concessions in investigations and surgeries for the deserving and economically deprived patients

Impact of the Trust activities

• Over 150 children utilizing our free educational services for the visually challenged
• 32 students have secured jobs in various government sectors
• 18 batches of 10th class and 13 batches of intermediate have obtained 100% results in regular examinations
• 300 Corneas were collected through our eye donation center 
• Over 30000 people were screened at various free camps
• Over 5000 surgeries were performed totally free of cost to the needy
• Increased awareness in the public regarding eye donation, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy
